Frequently Asked Questions

The Hotel La Manufacture team would like to introduce you to our frequently asked questions. It consists of the questions most frequently asked by our guests. If you do not find the answer to your question, please do not hesitate to contact our staff. They will be happy to answer you.

Is it possible to request a specific room number?

You can request a specific room number, however, depending on availability, we cannot guarantee that it will be available. For this reason, please remember to request the room number you want in advance.

Do you have connecting rooms?

Yes, the Hotel La Manufacture has connecting rooms.

Is it possible to stay with 3 people in a double room?

No, the lobby is open to everyone and you can join your guests. If you wish to stay with three people, you can book a triple room or a suite.

Are the rooms equipped with a hairdryer?

Yes, all our rooms are equipped with a hairdryer.

Are there beds for children / babies ?

You can ask us to install a baby bed in certain categories of rooms (except classic) for any child up to 1 year old. From 2 years old onwards, the child is considered as an adult and you will have to request an extra bed (possible from the Tradition category).

Do the rooms face the courtyard or the street?

The Hotel La Manufacture offers rooms on the courtyard and others on the street.

Are there rooms with balcony?

Yes, the Classic Balcony rooms and the Traditional Balcony rooms are equipped with a balcony.

Is it possible to bring a guest to my room?

It is possible to bring a guest in your room but not beyond the capacity of the room. If one or more people stay in your room, they will have to report to the reception and if they sleep in the hotel, they will have to pay the tourist tax of 5,20€ per person and per night.

Is it possible to request an extra bed in my room?

We can add an extra bed for the traditional rooms (minimum) and bigger but not for the other categories, count an extra 20€ per night. You can also book a triple room

Is there air conditioning in the room, does it work all year round?

Yes, but not all year round. Depending on the season, the outside temperature and the customer's request, we switch to heating or air conditioning.

Does my room have a safe?

Yes, all rooms at the Hotel La Manufacture have a safe.

Does the hotel offer smoking rooms?

It is strictly forbidden to smoke in our establishment. Otherwise, we may ask you to pay a disinfection and cleaning fee of up to 300€.


However, our establishment has a terrace and some of our rooms also have terraces on which you can smoke.

Is it possible to get a refund for a non-cancellable, non-refundable offer?

No, the rate is not refundable.

Is the rate indicated per person or per room?

The rate is indicated per room. However, a tourist tax of 5,20€ per night per person is to be paid at the reception. Payment can be done upon check-in or in advance through a secure payment system.

A pre-authorization for the first night will be blocked and the amount will be debited 5 days before your arrival in our hotel. This amount will be released at the time of check-out. It will take between one to five working days to have it back on your bank account.

Is breakfast included to the room rate?

It depends on the offer.

Which credit cards are accepted?

The following cards are accepted: Master, Visa, Maestro, American Express, Apple Pay. Cash is also accepted. However, it is not possible to pay by check.

Are taxes included?

Yes, all taxes are included except the tourist tax to be paid at check-in.

What is the cancellation policy of EKTA Hotel?

Hotel La Manufacture's cancellation policy varies according to the rate you choose.

How do I cancel or change my reservation?

When you book directly through our website, you will receive an e-mail of confirmation. Instructions to update your stay are detailed in the e-mail (based on your booking policy).

If you have booked through a third-party, we invite you to contact the platform in order to edit your booking.

Why am I being charged for the first night?

A pre-authorisation is made within 7 days of the first night's stay as a guarantee (the amount is blocked on your account but not debited). In case of damage to the room or unpaid extras, this amount will be debited. Otherwise, the amount will be released at check-out. The amount will then be available within 3 to 5 working days (depending on your bank's regulations).

What are the check-in and check-out time?

The rooms are ready from 2:00 pm and must be vacated before 12:00 pm maximum on the day of departure. If you wish to have the room before, do not hesitate to send us an email with your reservation number, depending on availability we will try to do our best to satisfy your request. You will be able to leave your room later according to our availability for an extra charge of 70€.

Is it possible to arrive earlier or to extend my stay?

It is possible to arrive before the arrival date or to extend my stay depending on the availability of the hotel. Please call the reception in advance, depending on availability we will try to do our best to satisfy your request (late check-out can reach 4pm).

Which languages are spoken at the Front Desk?

Our reception speaks French, English, Italian, German and Spanish.

Is the hotel adapted for people with disabilities?

Yes, the Hotel La Manufacture is adapted to the PMR standards. We have PMR room Deluxe as well as a PMR elevator and the common rooms are also adapted.

Are pets allowed in the hotel?

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in our hotel.

Is there a lift in the hotel?

Yes, two elevators are at your disposal and serve all floors of the hotel.

Is the hotel equipped to welcome guests with other forms of disabilities?

Yes, the staff of the hotel is trained to welcome guests with other forms of disabilities such as visual impairment, hearing impairment etc.

Is there a restaurant in the hotel?

No, the hotel has a breakfast room but no restaurant.

Do you offer breakfast service and what are the terms ?

Presented in the form of a buffet, the breakfast at the Hotel Manufacture is composed of a wide choice of fresh and quality products, salty and sweet, for a convivial moment: a selection of hot drinks, fresh fruit juices, fresh fruit salads, breads and pastries, butter and traditional jams, cereals, granola, dried fruits, yoghurt, cottage cheese, cheese, cold cuts, eggs... On request we can provide gluten-free bread and lactose-free milk.

HOURS: The breakfast buffet is open every morning from 7am to 10:30am.

RATES : 13€ per person in the breakfast room

Does the hotel have a bar?

Yes, we have a bar.

Is it possible to leave my luggage at the reception?

Yes, we have a free luggage service. You can leave your luggage there and pick it up later.

Does the hotel have a car park?

No, but the parking salpêtrière Italy 16€/d is located at 500m from the hotel  

Does the WiFi is provide in the hotel?

Yes, you will have free WiFi access throughout the hotel.

Is there a business center in the hotel?

No, we do not have a business center, but you can work in our lounge. Our rooms are also equipped with a desk that has international plugs and a USB port.

Does the hotel have a concierge service?

Yes, our teams at the reception will be happy to guide you during your stay at the hotel La Manufacture.

Does the hotel have a dry-cleaning service?

Yes, the hotel has a laundry service. Drop your things off before 10am and pick them up in the evening from 9pm or the next day.

Does the hotel have a babysitting service?

The hotel does not have a babysitting service.

Do you provide towels?

Yes, towels are provided in your room.

Where can I find an adapter?

You have international plugs in each room. If you need more, please contact the reception.

Is there a taxi rank near the hotel?

Yes, the nearest cab stand to the hotel is Place d'Italie.

What are the nearest metro / train stations?

Metro: Les Gobelins station, Place d'Italie station

Can I benefit from an airport/station shuttle?

Yes, you can ask the reception to arrange your shuttle from the hotel to the airport. For the reverse trip, the front desk can direct you but not schedule a shuttle.

What is the price of a taxi from the airport?

From Charles de Gaulles airport (CDG) the fare for a cab without a normal reservation is from 58€.

From Orly airport the fare for a cab without a normal reservation is from 32€.

What is the nearest train station? How do I get there from the station?

The nearest train stations are the Gare d'Austerlitz (10 minutes by transport from the hotel, Metro line 5) and the Gare de Lyon (15 minutes by transport from the hotel, Metro line 14 then line 6).

What actions is your hotel taking to protect us from Covid?

The hotel applies the necessary sanitary protocol, no recouche possible during the stay (except on request for a long stay from the 3rd night) but possibility to ask at the reception for clean towels, TPE before each customer.

In what form is breakfast served?

The hotel offers a Continental breakfast with advance reservation at 13€ per day per person in the hotel restaurant respecting the social distanciations. During the Covid, no more kettles in the room and no more newspapers, for everything that is extra pillows or towels you have to see the reception directly.

How far is the hotel from the center of Paris?

The hotel is located between the Place d'Italie and Les Gobelins, with direct access by metro to all the tourist attractions in the area.
